    Does anybody know the advantages of a "multicoated" lens vs a "non multicoated lens?

    I guess It has something to do with avoiding lens flares, although I m not sure.

    If you want to know further with these sorta issues, read the brilliant ASC magazine online. I ve learnt a lot with it, by reading interviews of DOP making movies we all know, all articles dealing with technical stuff as those you pointed out.
